A MAN wanted on a number of outstanding warrants that RCMP have been looking for has been caught and now has additional charges against him.
Police arrested Eric Cardinal and police say his activities led to the arrest of five other individuals, who police say were trafficking in cocaine at about 7 p.m. March 4 at the 4900 block of Keith Ave.
On March 5, Cardinal’s additional charges include robbery, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats in relation to an incident at a residence here at the end of January 2013, said police.
He was wanted for breach of a court order and charges relating to a number of violent assaults, police said.
Drug trafficking charges have been recommended against two males, who are well-known to police and they are scheduled to appear in court June 4 in Terrace, said police.
