Owen Dale Charpentier is wanted after not turning up for his court date.

Warrant issued for suspected Langley thief

A wanted man is linked to theft and a stolen car.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a 20-year-old Langley man who has been linked to a stolen car and break-in tools.

On Feb. 1, Owen Dale Charpentier was arrested after a police dog allegedly tracked him from a stolen car.

The car, stolen the previous day, had numerous break and enter tools inside when it was found, said Cpl. Holly Largy, spokesperson for the Langley RCMP.

Charpentier was scheduled to appear in court as recently as Feb. 14, but a warrant was issued for his arrest after he missed some appearances before a judge.

He has been charged with theft under $5,00, driving while prohibited, and breach of recognizance, said Largy.

The wanted man has been known to live in Langley City, but is also rumoured to be staying in the Chilliwack area right now.

Charpentier is 5’5” and weighs approximately 135 pounds.
