No one was hurt when a pick-up truck slid off Highway 16 near the Bulkley River bridge this morning.
The truck’s owner, who was at the scene waiting for a tow truck, confirmed that icy roads were a factor in the incident.
Roads all around Smithers are extremely icy today, so use caution when on the road.
Drivebc.ca is warning of slippery conditions on Highway 16, effectively from Moricetown to Houston, and up towards Kitwanga and Terrace.
