The Okanagan’s best restaurant is judged to be right here in Kelowna, according to the annual Vancouver magazine restaurant awards.
For the fourth year in a row, Waterfront Restaurant and Wine Bar on Sunset Drive, which just re-opened after a major renovation, got the top award for best Okanagan Restaurant.
RauDZ Regional Table of Kelowna placed second, while Local of Summerland came third, Bouchon’s Bistro of Kelowna was fourth and Theo’s of Penticton was fifth.
In the Best Winery/Vineyard Dining category, Miradoro at Tinhorn Creek came first, followed by Old Vines Restaurant at Quails’ Gate in West Kelowna, Bacchus Bistro at Domaine de Chaberton on the Lower Mainland, then The Terrace at Mission Hill and finally Vineyard Terrace at CedarCreek Estate Winery, both in Kelowna.
Judging is by a panel of expert judges.
