Students were dismissed early today (April 3) at Clayton Elementary after a watermain burst on a neighbouring property.
Parents were emailed around noon with instructions to pick their children up.
In a letter to parents posted to the school’s website, it says “city staff expect the water to be shut off for the remainder of the day.”
”The watermain has burst on the neighbouring property – consequently the water to the school has been shut off,” the post notes. “City staff expect the water to be shut off for the remainder of the day.”
