Congratulations to Kachandra Richardson and Todd Hudson on the birth of their son, Otto Hudson, born on Jan. 7, 2017. Baby Otto weighed in at 6 lbs, 11 ozs, and Mom Kachandra says he was born one day early from her due date. Otto is the first recorded baby born to a Barriere area family in 2017, and is therefore recognized as ‘Barriere’s New Year’s Baby’. The baby joins two brothers and a sister in the family. Otto and his parents were presented with two gift baskets full of baby items and presents at the Star/Journal office last Friday.
