West Kelowna bidding process enhanced

Businesses should register anew to receive bidding information from District of West Kelowna.

Businesses wanting  to provide goods and services to the District of West Kelowna now have a new way of signing up for and keeping track of bid opportunities.

The new web service bids.districtofwestkelowna.ca allows vendors to view bid opportunities and/or register as plan takers to receive information on Invitations to Tender, Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications.

Registered plan takers can select from an expanded list of bid categories that they’re interested in.

The process then has them sign up to receive email notifications about new bid opportunities in related categories.

Users will also be able to log in to their own personal dashboard so they can download bid documents, see who else has registered as a plan taker and keep up to date on the process from the time a bid opportunity opens to the time a tender is awarded.

Users can access the new web service by going online to bids.districtofwestkelowna.ca or by going to www.districtofwestkelowna.ca and clicking on Bid Opportunities from the homepage.

District of West Kelowna will no longer send out notifications through the previous bid opportunities service.

Vendors who have subscribed online in the past are asked to register again through the new web service to ensure they are receiving notifications in all available bid categories under the enhanced system.
