A West Kelowna man, 45, died May 2 as the result of an April 29 stabbing that occurred during a dispute on Solar Road.
Joe Amestica, 50, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and remanded in custody. Police are currently consulting with Crown counsel regarding appropriate charges as a result of victim passing away.
“Our investigation remains very active and ongoing,” said Cpl. Joe Duncan.
“We are urging anyone who may have witnessed this dispute/altercation between these two men to contact the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880.”

The family of the victim has asked that everyone respect the victim’s privacy and as such, a name will not be released at this time.
