Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre in West Kelowna is turning 25, and the whole community is invited to the party.
The 25th anniversary celebration will take place at JBMAC (3737 Old Okanagan Hwy) Saturday Oct. 26 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The public is invited to join Mayor Doug Findlater, members of West Kelowna council and honoured guests at the family-friendly event, celebrating all that JBMAC has meant to West Kelowna.
Findlater will be joined by Rod Barrett, former president of the Johnson Bentley Pool Society, Ron Gorman of Gorman Bros. Lumber, and members of the Johnson and Bentley families to speak about the history of the facility and officially open the newly-renovated foyer and patio.
Families will enjoy taking part in activities and crafts at the event, as well as splashing in the pool with games led by pool staff.
There will also be a chance to try out the weight room and take in free programs, including Zumba, a kids hip hop dance class and more.
