Oh, Justin Beaver, “where are you now?”
The Fraser Valley Regional District is appealing to the public to help them locate a missing local personality. Justin Beaver is a stuffed version of common wetlands animal, and he’s used regularly to help teach school children about habitats during trips to places like the Cheam Wetlands.
And that’s exactly where he was when he went missing.
They released a missing poster for Justin Beaver, partly named after the famous Canadian singer and heartthrob, on Wednesday afternoon.
“He is well loved by all the school children who go to our parks’ educational programs,” the FVRD tweeted out.

“The FVRD is asking for the public to help find Justin Beaver. Last seen at Cheam Wetlands on April 17, 2018.”
They added that FVRD park staff were conducting an interpretive tour of the wetlands, which are located in Popkum, when the beaver was set down and left unattended.
“Our beloved demonstration aide was hanging out by himself in the picnic shelter,” they said. “With the FVRD’s school educational programs well underway, we are hoping for his safe return.”
