White Rock RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who hasn’t been seen since missing his flight home to Hungary last Saturday.

According to a news release, Janos Horvath was last seen in South Surrey, around 8:15 p.m. on April 8, at the bus loop in the 1600-block of 152 Street.

He was wearing a brown jacket and pants, and carrying a red-and-white duffel bag.

Horvath, 51, is described as Caucasian, five-foot-10 inches tall, 150 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.

“Police are very concerned for Janos Horvath’s health and well-being,” the release, issued Wednesday morning, states.

“He was taking public transit to YVR for his outgoing flight home to Hungary, however, never made the flight and family and friends have not heard from him.”

Horvath has a medical condition that requires ongoing treatment, the release states.
