A new wildfire near Bouchie Lake showed no growth overnight according to the Cariboo Fire Service.
The fire, located near Hangman Springs, west of Pinnacles provincial park, was first discovered on Tuesday, Aug. 3 during the afternoon. A firefighting helicopter was used to stop the spread.
As of Wednesday, Aug. 4, the fire was 0.2 hectares.
There were seven personnel assigned to hold the fire, which is suspected to have been caused by a lightning strike.
