The annual Williams Lake 4-H Show and Sale begins Friday morning.
It takes place at the Williams Lake Stockyards Friday, Aug. 19 to Wednesday, Aug. 24. The following is a schedule of upcoming 4-H events.
Friday, Aug. 19
8:30 a.m.: set up
4 p.m.: food show
6 p.m.: dog and bike show
7:30 p.m.: small engines
Saturday, Aug. 20
8 a.m.: horse show
8 to 10 a.m.: beef weigh-in
10 to 11 a.m.: sheep weigh-in
11 a.m. to noon: swine weigh in
1 p.m.: horse judging
2 p.m.: oral and written judging
4:45 p.m.: gardening
5:30 p.m.: poultry
7 p.m.: club leaders and president meeting
8 p.m.: pool time
Sunday, Aug. 21
9 a.m.: photography prejudged
9 a.m.: sheep show, Cloverbud and goat demo
1 p.m.: sheep grand champions
2 p.m.: rabbit show
3:30 p.m.: Cloverbud show
4 p.m.: photography
6:30 p.m.: heifers and cows
