The Williams Lake RCMP are looking for information about an attempted robbery that took place on June 28 at 9:44 p.m.

When police arrived on the scene, they spoke to a delivery driver who had been southbound on North 5th Avenue, approaching Proctor Street, when they were stopped by four native males standing in the street.

The males demanded money and attempted to remove a small bag worn by the victim which contained a hand-held point-of-sale terminal.

One of the males and victim engaged in a pulling match wherein the unknown male punched the victim in the face.

Finally the victim simply reversed their vehicle and escaped.
