Williams Lake RCMP report they had a relatively steady weekend with approximately 100 calls for service and 39 prisoners, which Inspector Warren Brown said is an above average number.

“Although there were no significant occurrences, the Williams Lake RCMP were tied up with a number of run-away youths from group homes in the community. These are common occurrences that tie up RCMP officers for hours while they attempt to locate and ensure the safety of these youth,” Brown said, adding there were also several alcohol related calls for service.
