Environment Canada has issued a Wind Warning for the Fraser Valley, including Abbotsford.
The warning was issued just before 4 p.m. Monday afternoon.
“Persons in or near this area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions,” the weather agency said in a release.
Wind between 40 and 60 kilometres per hour is anticipated this evening, according to Environment Canada.
