Woman assaults man downtown

Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 26 calls for service from September 23rd, 8 a.m., till September 24th, 8 a.m.

During the same time period, 10 people were lodged in Terrace cells – six of these people were lodged for intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

Police observed a white 2012 GMC Sierra truck turn right into parking lot off Lakelse Ave. and hit a fire hydrant. No injuries. Minor damage to the vehicle and hydrant.

A man in breach of probation condition to not be inside of the Safeway. Police located the intoxicated 41-year-old man in the area and arrested him. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

A man and woman observed arguing in Brolly Square. Police spoke with the man and woman and received conflicting versions of events. Investigation determined that the woman assaulted the man. The 36-year-old woman was arrested and charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

Man passed out near the Tim Horton’s on Lakelse Ave. Police woke up the mildly intoxicated man and discussed alternate places to sleep.

Man fighting with someone in front of the Medical Building. Police located the very intoxicated 41-year-old man in the area and arrested him.

Intoxicated woman on Greig Ave. Police found two intoxicated woman sharing a bottle of liquor. Both woman, ages 37 and 17, were arrested.

False business alarm on Eby St.

.Intoxicated man on Lazelle Ave. Checks were done of the area.

Elsewhere Terrace

Hang up 911 call from a cell phone. Numerous queries were conducted. Attempts are still being made to contact the registered owner of the phone.

Familial dispute over property. The situation worked itself out on its own.

Assist Kitimat RCMP with a missing person investigation.

Intoxicated man passed out in a parking lot on Sparks St./Davis Ave. Police arrested a 38-year-old man.

Group of intoxicated men threatened a man on Kalum St./Scott Ave. Police located the group and received a more detailed version of the events that had transpired. No offence.

An intoxicated man at a residence on Loen Ave. demanding to be let in. Police arrested a 39-year-old man.

Group of people drinking in the George Little Park beside the library. The group dispersed upon police arrival. Alcohol was dumped.

Shots fired on Sunset Dr. A second call was received of teenagers shooting off fireworks in the same area. Checks were done.

A woman wearing bright pink trying door handles of vehicles in a trailer park on Graham Ave. Checks were done of the area.

Assist BC Ambulance with a suicidal 34-year-old woman. She was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital.

A man vomiting on himself on Kalum St. Police arrested a 28-year-old intoxicated man.

False 911 call from a residence.

Assist Ministry of Children and Families with three investigations.

Thornhill

A black lady’s wallet was found in the Northern Motor Inn.

Rural

Elder abuse reported. Police spoke with a person.

Suspicious vehicle on Nystrom Pl. Checks of the area were done.
