Family members will hold a workbee Saturday, starting at around 9:30 a.m., and running throughout the day.

“People can come by and help out in the morning or in the afternoon,” said Marie Van Diest, Taylor’s mom. “We’re asking volunteers that want to help out to bring wheelbarrows, rakes, brooms, or things that can trim hedges.”

On Sunday at 6:30 p.m., the trail will unveil 30 new solar lights that have been placed from the start to the end of the pathway.

The Taylor Jade Van Diest Memorial Trail is located between Rosedale Avenue and Pleasant Valley Road.
