The weather was chilly and snowy — perfect for the annual Winterfest, held Jan. 28 at the Yahk-Kingsgate Community Hall.
Games started in the morning, and included a snowman building and snow angel contests, coffee can curling, snow bocce and sled races. Hay rides, skating, face painting and a visit from Zak the Yak were also part of the day, which concluded with entertainment by Jonathan Ferguson and the Friendly Fire.
