Bus Algar, 96. Oldest surviving Nelson Maple Leafs alumnus. Died April 20.

Nancy Baker, 87. Selkirk College founder and last chair of the Slocan school board. Died June 21.

Mike Berg, 77. Accountant, past Rotary district governor and Columbia Basin Trust director. Died November 21.

Dave Glackin, 82. Retired Nelson band teacher. Died January 18.

Betty Golata, 101. Longtime Touchstones volunteer. Died October 27.

Howie Hornby, 79. Nelson Maple Leafs great. Died on October 1.

Ken Lamb, 78. Teacher, musician, and theologian. Died August 26.

Bev LaPointe, 56. Longtime city worker and union leader. Died April 17.

Rev. Thomas Leadbeater, 99. Longtime clergyman who served at St. Saviour’s and St. Andrew’s from 1948-56. Died December 13. His wife Betsy died February 26 at 97.

Tudor Rutherglen, 97. Longbeach old-timer and Second World War veteran who saw action in Normandy. Died June 23.

Mary Jean Woodward, 80. Prominent Kootenay outdoorswoman. Died May 31.

Jim Yount, 64. Retired broadcaster and man-about-Kaslo. Died November 30.

Kyle Zarchikoff. Crescent Valley firefighter. Died November 26 in a highway accident south of Grande Prairie, Alta.
