Good morning! It was a rainy start to the day at 13 C as of 7:37 a.m., and the Environment Canada weather service tells us we’ve got 100 per cent humidity and 8 km/h winds from the east-southeast.
It’s only expected to get more rainy today, with a rainfall warning from Environment Canada in Abbotsford. Today, watch for 15 to 25 mm of rain through the day, with a high of 13 C and a low of 11 C.
That rain is expected to get even heavier overnight, with 30 to 40 mm forecast, but tomorrow looks like just a slight break — the sun may peak out between the clouds, with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 14 C, dropping to a low of 10 C overnight with showers.
And the precipitation is expected to stick around at least until next Wednesday, with each day forecast to see showers, periods of rain or a chance of showers, with highs between 11 and 14 C. Lows are forecast to drop from 9 C on Saturday to 5 C on Monday and Tuesday.
Currently, visibility is two kilometres.
On clear roads and driving at the speed limit, a drive from the Abbotsford News building to Downtown Vancouver would take 50 minutes.
