A burning concern

Boozing isn’t allowed in public places, when did that stop the “lifestyle” of drinkers?

Re: The continuing correspondence on smoking on Penticton beaches. We can see that since that particular habit is so hard to break, so is the urge to write about it. Therefore, I have to give in and comment on the past opinions of Garry Fawcett.

Smoking concerns us all, those who indulge as well as those who get it “free” (second hand). All pay the medical/economic costs, which fact was discovered well before Coun. Garry Litke was invented.

As for changing anyone’s lifestyle, boozing isn’t allowed in public places, when did that stop the “lifestyle” of drinkers? In closing, I might like a public apology from Mr. Litke for many things, but not for his smoking comments.
