Editor: I have found it difficult in past municipal elections knowing who to vote for, due to lack of familiarity with the candidates. I just thought I would put in a plug for one candidate in the Township this year who I think deserves support.
Since I met her two years ago, I have found Petrina Arnason to be a hard-working, community-oriented person worthy of a seat on council. I find her level-headed, balanced, fair, open-minded, and a good listener. She is also a creative thinker who is solutions-oriented, rather than someone who rigidly takes hard line positions. She cares about the sustainability of Langley, and places a value on thoughtful planning. We’d be lucky to have someone with her dedication and talents on council.
