As the grandparents of two granddaughters who have attended Beairsto school for the past eight years, I am very well aware of how much effort over the years was put into trying to have a light installed at that corner for the safety of hundreds of children.
Who knew all it would take was for someone to build a Tim Hortons. Presto, lighto.
Shame on all that are responsible for the debacle of a light at Stickle Road. What are you going to say to the family of a fatality at that intersection?
For heaven sake, please someone build a Tim Hortons. That should do it.
