AESS students hold food drive

Agassiz high school kids gather more than 700 food items for food bank

The AESS leadership class would like to thank all students and staff who brought in food over the last few weeks. This will have a great positive impact on many people in our community over the holidays. In total we had approximately 700 food items brought in.

The class collected cans for about three weeks from anyone who brought them in, as well as doing a “get out of class” fundraiser. In which each class that was able to collect the equivalent amount of cans as people can skip a block of class, go to the gym and cheer on the Senior Girls basketball team. This was a huge success.

We would like to send out a special thank you to Agassiz-Harrison Employment and Support services as well as the Agassiz Subway for donating the amazing prizes this year.
