I’ve never known the name of the angel that keeps Bella Vista Road looking so nice until recently.
Her name is Helen Sidney. This woman walks at least three kilometres up and down Bella Vista Road every day. She is the one who is always carrying bags of garbage on her walks.
She collects up to two shopping bags full of garbage every day. I stopped once and told her that she is the only reason why Bella Vista looks so nice.
I challenge people to take their garbage home and allow this woman to enjoy her walks.
She says she just can’t walk past it and not pick it up.
I have never seen her empty-handed and I hate to think of what our road will look like when she is no longer there to pick up after everyone else. Helen, you are the best.
