I have two colleagues who run regularly along city sidewalks.
They often express their anger and frustration at motorists who look for cars when entering a roadway, but not for pedestrians.
Both have had close calls.
Yesterday, I was that motorist.
To the woman who was running along Old Clayburn and crossing Christina on Monday evening, I am deeply sorry for the scare I put into you.
You had every right to yell at me.
When making a right turn onto another roadway, it is easy to fall into the habit of looking to the left for cars and not paying attention to pedestrians coming from the right.
I learned my lesson.
I just hope it sticks.
