Dear Sir:
I am appalled at the printing of Mike Bartlett’s diatribe against Rob Brown in the February 2nd edition.
Strongly held views make for lively argument but Mr. Bartlett clearly stepped over the boundary of public debate into personal attack.
When the Standard prints such rants it instantly becomes sub-standard. Mr. Bartlett weakened his points with his name calling. You weakened your role as a credible place for public discourse.
Rob Hart,
Terrace, B.C.
