We residents of Salmon Arm are fortunate to have an extremely efficient Emergency Response Team to assist us when we need them.
My dementia-afflicted husband disappeared at dusk having just returned from hospital, having suffered a small stroke.
After my call three RCMP officers soon appeared and began searching with the promise of a ‘sniffer’ dog if they were not successful. Thankfully they were successful and they then called in the ambulance crew to assess whether or not he had suffered another small stroke.
All these people were kind and competent and once again I wish to thank them for their care.
