Bang your pots and pans for frontline workers

We would like to add more to the letter to the editor by Cindy Doumont. She is right on. My husband John and I live on Victoria Road in Chemainus. For a week now, we and a couple of our neighbours have been pounding on saucepans every evening at 7 p.m. No one else up here on Victoria Road is joining us. This is one small, but noisy way we can say thank you to our medical workers, our grocery store workers, our gas station attendants, our first responders, our cafe and restaurant workers who make extra special takeout food for us to enjoy. It is for all those essential workers who work under difficult circumstances at this very scary time, and help make our life bearable.

Come on Chemainus and Saltair, bang on those pots and pans. Do it each and every night for as long as these, our neighbours, put their safety on the line.
