BOUQUET: Bouquet to the staff at VGH sixth floor D unit for taking care of my mom during her final few days. Getting her to a phone wasn’t easy, but we enjoyed chatting with her. Special bouquet goes to whomever found her a TV for a few days. Thank you.
BOUQUET: A huge thank you to BC Ambulance and VGH emergency, surgery, doctors, 5 south nurses, doctors, health care aides, physios, housekeeping, food services and Medi Van. My care was wonderful.
BOUQUET: I just want to thank Maxxam Insurance and staff for the amazing job they are doing providing ICBC and family insurance services. They have set up such an efficient service for renewals. I received a call for renewal … they did the paperwork and dropped by my home for signatures. The whole process took maybe 20 minutes. The customer service was amazing. Thank you Maxxam for making my renewal a breeze.
BOUQUET: With BBQ season and the sunshine here this past weekend, we felt like there was no other place to go than Glenwood Meats. The lineup when we got there was crazy and having only outside pick up service available, we weren’t sure how it was going to go. But we were amazed at how smooth and fast the service was. A huge kudos to this local company for really putting safety first without compromising their service. Yes it was a different experience, but all in all thank you Glenwood for making the changes necessary so that the community can still enjoy your great products, and your hospitality.
BEEF: A big smoky beef to the vehicles on Glen Forest Way who are doing burn outs and revving their engines at midnight, 1 and 2 a.m. When I was young we enjoyed doing these burnouts every now and again too, but doing these very early in the morning, on the same road and every weekend seems a little much. At least take it to a different area every now and again!
BOUQUET: To the gentleman in the black pickup on Saturday at the drive thru of Starbuck’s Hull’s Field, thank you for buying me and my daughter our drinks. This really made our day and we paid it forward!
BEEF: To all the drivers heading to Sooke on the weekend, slow down, I was going 70 with the speed limit being 60 and you were all riding my bumper. Slow down, it helps to save lives!
