BOUQUET: A neighbourhood size bouquet for our Latoria I.D.A. pharmacist Mohamed, who also has been on the front lines during this past year of COVID-19.

You can stop in anytime and he gives you his friendly, undivided attention to answer any health concerns, always with a big smile.

He shows outstanding professionalism with medical expertise and experience. Thank you Mohamed for the care of your community.

BOUQUET: I would like to thank the kind soul who captured my rogue canoe that took off in Monday night’s windstorm and tied it to the bridge at the end of Glen Lake. It is now happily home and will be getting some obedience training before the next big blow.

BOUQUET: A huge thank you needs to be sent to all the courteous staff at Glenwood Meats.

All during heightened COVID restrictions, they have been able to keep loyal customers looked after, and their procedure has kept them up and running. I don’t think they get enough kudos for a job well done.

BOUQUET: A big bouquet out to the Nifty Thrift Shop in Langford, where I entered a raffle and won a fabulous gift basket. All the sponsors were very generous and I wanted to thank them for donating, and the owner who worked hard for the raffle to be such a success!

The store has a heartwarming cause and it’s wonderful that this thrift store not only keeps items affordable for community, but gives back.

BEEF: To all the vehicles driving the Malahat in that extreme fog with no lights on … The fog was thick and to drive up behind a vehicle with no lights on was very dangerous. It surprises me how many drivers are not turning their lights on when the conditions warrant doing so!

BOUQUET: A big bouquet to the cashier at Fairway Market on Goldstream Avenue.

I wish I would have caught your name, but you were so pleasant and put a smile on my face with your super customer service. As a senior shopping in these times, I am always worried about the safety issues. You were quick and were cleaning your station after each customer.

Thank you for making me feel safe and taking due care to ensure everyone’s safety, including your own!

BEEF: To the man walking his black lab in Colwood Creek Park … I saw your dog do his business twice while I was there and no clean up on your part.

There are doggie bags available at the park so next time don’t be such a poop and pick up after your dog so the rest of us can continue to enjoy taking our dogs there.

BOUQUET: To the staff and owners at Cloth Castle … Just a big thank-you to a local business that continues to surprise me every time I walk through their doors.

Great customer service and love the selection. Keep up the great work and see you soon!
