The pendant has sentimental value to me because it was my mother’s, so thanking the receptionist is not enough. There is no price tag on a daughter’s keepsake.
Wonderful Memories to the organizers of the Nanaimo John Shaw High reunion for graduating classes 1951-53 for a wonderful time. Thanks to Sid and all the committee members for including the 1952 class. It was so great seeing faces from the past, some we recognized and some we didn’t, but all in all I think we all aged well. Hopefully we will be invited back for the next get-together.

This store is a hidden gem, with a selection of beautiful furniture in many types of wood and many stains, made here in B.C. The service that I received from beginning to end was above and beyond and I love my new dining room and bedroom sets. I will be back.
A huge thank you to Bob Ducharme and Dan of the Métis Veterans Association, who lovingly provided a veteran portion to our celebration of life for John Godfrey. Bob and John were in the Korean War at the same time yet didn’t know each other. I especially appreciated the poppy pinning that everyone participated in.

A disgusted beef to whoever took the memorial bear on Doumont Road and placed it at the bus stop. I dropped my son off at school and came back to grab the bear and put it back and it was gone. Have you heard about karma?

Just do your job and give the correct change owed, pennies included. I’ve never experienced anyone dropping unwanted pennies on the floor. You are the rude one asking for money that is not yours.
a beef to dog owners who walk their dogs along the E&N Trail and don’t pick up after them. Now that the weather has turned nice, all I can smell on my commute to work is dog poop roasting in the sun. People like you shouldn’t even be allowed to own dogs. The fact that you think it’s acceptable to just leave feces lying around in public places makes me wonder what your own personal hygiene is like.

A beef to a dog owner in the Uplands Drive area. Please keep your dog inside the house. All night this dog barks every hour for 20 minutes at a time. Some of us work early in the morning and are constantly woken up by this dog. I can hear other neighbours trying to get this animal to be quiet to no avail. If you are not home, find someone to look after your dog. Be a responsible pet owner and neighbour. I am at the end of my tired rope.
