Belmont’s farewell shows promise for future

Young people's involvement in celebration of school a credit to their leadership

We, a group of 1967 grads, attended “Saying Goodbye to Belmont” on May 9. This was a wonderful event and it was so good to see so many people from our past, all gathered to say goodbye to our high school which held so many memories.

We would like to thank the co-ordinating committee, under the direction of Lloyd Powell, and the Belmont students for all their hard work in making this event a huge success. During the celebration, they went out of their way to be helpful and informative.

These upcoming students will be a real credit to our society. Thank you, one and all.
