I was walking my puppy on the Rattlesnake Point circle after throwing many sticks for him on the glassy lake. I meditated on the rhythmic splash of a kayaker’s paddle as he seemed to levitate on the blue sky and delicate clouds reflected on the lake. I felt a rare thing, a deep sense of peace and wonder at the tranquility of the glorious morning.
More than ever, we need places where we can refresh our spirit.
