Bottled water at information centre in Comox Valley doesn’t wash

Dear editor,

My wife and I and our friends from Vernon visited the new information centre this past week.

Dear editor,

My wife and I and our friends from Vernon visited the new information centre this past week.

We were impressed by the building and the available information inside.

As I was looking around, one of the staff asked if he could be of any assistance. As I was thirsty, I asked where the drinking water fountain was, to which he replied, “There isn’t one but you can buy a bottle for $1.25.”

Bottled water from Costco.

We should promote the Valley water. Not bottled water.

Whomever was in charge in putting this building together should explain why there is no drinking water fountain as is in other information centres.

Mac Lindsay,

Comox Valley
