Editor: I just want to say how much I enjoyed reading about the life of Bob Crerar (The Times, Nov. 12).
I would like to say thank you to Mr. Crerar and those like him, who served with so much self-sacrifice and bravery. Those of us today who live free owe a great debt to the men and women who served and continue to serve. We will never forget.
