An open letter to columnist Gwynne Dyer re: Brexit:
Do you believe in democracy? Your article, which showed up in the Shuswap Market News suggests you feel David Cameron’s decision to fulfill his election promise was an “historic blunder.”
Do you not believe that the majority of the British people have the God-given right to decide their future?
Do you feel that the British citizenry did not have some basis to be unhappy with the current arrangement?
Was is wrong for them to stand up and say enough is enough?
Or to take a stand as they did when Hitler threatened the world
Here you are suggesting they had no right to defend themselves.
David Cameron was, in my opinion, a puppet of the EU, not a hero for sticking up for his country – possibly treasonous in his defence of the ongoing rape of England.
But there was one thing he did right .
One of his campaign promises was to “allow” the British people to have their say.
And the likes of you call it an historic blunder.
