I would like to thank the Good Samaritan who saved my bag from being stolen by a thief on a bike recently outside the Parliament Buildings. I was locking up my bike and my backpack was a few steps behind me when a thief on a bike picked it up and rode away. I screamed at the thief to stop and he sped up and tried to ride away. I was chasing him across the lawn screaming, “Thief! Stop him! That’s my bag!”
A man in a blue shirt by the bus stop pushed him off his bike and retrieved my stolen backpack. After a shouting match with the thief, he rode away, but I got my bag back.
Thank you to man and his brave act. Words cannot express my gratitude.
