To the editor:
Some may see our country as a multicultural mosaic, but I prefer to think of Canada as a huge concert hall filled with some of the world’s finest musicians.
Unfortunately, progressive instrumentalists have been ignored for a decade. To reach our potential Canada needs an inspirational leader with the courage, integrity, compassion, vision and wisdom to bring people together.
When Justin Trudeau strides across the parliamentary stage and picks up the baton of power, a hush of anticipation will silence the national audience.
Canadians will hold their collective breath; each one expecting him to play their favourite tune.
I wish him well, but if he does not exercise the necessary discipline to ensure his musicians are financially and ethically responsible, then all will be lost.
