Re: Fish is delicious, but check the label, July 9.
Is Marjorie Stewart stuck in a time warp? Every article she writes refers to times 50 or so years ago in a different country and a very different time.
The fact that some fish products are mislabelled means that they should be removed from shelves or labelled properly. The majority of fish products are properly labelled and provide healthy alternatives to beef, pork and even chicken.
Not everyone can afford to pay the high prices local producers charge for their products. Inexpensive food products, either fresh or processed, are needed so all can enjoy healthy meals.
