If R.L. Shunter wont watch or listen to any tax-payer supported television or radio with a “left-wing political agenda” and “multi-cultural hogwash,” one wonders what kind of right-wing ethnocentric dreck he or she enjoys?
With very few exceptions, programming on commercial radio and TV is nothing more than bubble gum for the mind. Thank goodness for PBS and B.C.’s Knowledge Network, for National Public Radio, in the States and CBC Radio in Canada.
Without them, we’d be left with nothing but Fox News and reality shows. I can’t think of a better use of my tax dollars than the CBC. Shame on Harper for his attempts to stifle the CBC. Death by 1,000 budget cuts.
