What’s wrong with our society that we let people who just have a feeling about something with no tangible proof to their claim dictate what will happen with cell towers?
Are these the same people who don’t vaccinate their children? Maybe they believe the world is only 6,000 years old or that the railway on Vancouver Island will someday be viable.
There is no scientific proof that low levels of radio frequencies are harmful. How many of these people use a cell phone every day? Did you realize that you are already being hit with radio waves 24 hours a day from radio and television signals, UHF, remote controls, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and many more.
Does science not count for anything anymore? I rely on scientific data for much of what I believe to be facts. Perhaps we should fear the unknown as there have been mistakes in the past, but not so much these days with countless scientists all coming to similar conclusions.
These scientists for the most part do not work for a company or corporation that supports a product and if they did their research would be quickly dismissed.
Should there be a limit on the number of radio waves we’re subjected to? Sure, why not, let’s implement some standard right after we get better cell coverage in French Creek.
