Ever wonder how the tree protection bylaw in Central Saanich works?
With all the large trees being felled all over the municipality it makes one think maybe something is amiss.
I have been told that there is not sufficient staff to go to a development site to ensure the protection of trees. It seems strange to me that we can fund the Taj Mahal of fire halls but can’t find a buck or two to save a few trees that should be saved.
