Challenge to Liberal Minister John Rustad

Al Trampuh is publicly challenging John Rustad in two debates regarding the Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation. The question Trampuh proposes is, “How are the current pursuits of the Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation just and democratic for all Canadians?” Trampuh believes Rustad isn’t brave or capable enough to take on this challenge publicly in a fair debate, because Rustad would lose votes.

Trampuh states, “One of the few tests of capability we have in democracy is a fair debate in public. A statesman like Rustad can’t say he’s the best unless he can at least handle the public debate test. We should attend and see who is most competent, not who is best at ads and talk?”

Trampuh says he will consider running as a candidate in the Nechako Lakes after Rustad participates in the two fair debates in the region. He proposes that the challenge be in Burns Lake and Prince George within three weeks.
