I had the most uplifting, wonderful, musical experience at the Isabelle Reader Theatre in Langford, Fiddler on the Roof put on by the Belmont secondary drama department.
Wow, such enthusiasm, so many happy faces, great stuff kids, thank you.
I saw the article in your paper and phoned the school for tickets.

Cheers to the City of Langford for finally realizing an advanced light was needed at the intersection of Jacklin Road and Jenkins Avenue.
One to many close calls with the Belmont students have been seen. Here’s hoping they will look at the Goldstream Avenue and Peatt Road lights next.

Just a note to thank the random stranger who works for an independent ambulance company. This man came out to help a lady that had collapsed in the parking lot just outside of Victoria General Hospital on March 13.
My husband saw her fall as we were leaving, and drove back to see if we could help. He went over to see her, and I ran inside the hospital to ask for help. After I explained the situation to the lady at the admitting counter, she told me to call 911.
I was appalled, considering I was in the hospital where there are plenty of stretchers, doctors and nurses as well as ambulances.
To the man that heard me frantically asking for help and came to this lady’s side out of no benefit to himself thank you, and thank you again.
It’s nice to know that there are good people still left in this world full of red tape, rules and regulations.
