Re: Autistic girl to be returned home to dad, The News, Dec. 11.
The Ministry of Children and Family Development and their like make their own rules. They are omnipotent. The courts fear them. Their tactic, when opposed, is to accuse parents, police, lawyers, judges and the courts, of not having the knowledge and experience to know what is good or bad for a child’s best welfare. They have more money and time than anyone opposing them to keep you running in circles through the courts. They have perfected the tactic of delay, adjournment and deferment almost to a science.
Worker burnout and turnover is high, coast-to-coast. It’s not the work – it’s the policies that eventually get to them.
As we’ve all read and seen in the national media the child protection services track record over the past 25 years has been abysmal. Their legally upheld and enforced “professional” decisions have buried more than a few children, yet they are allowed to carry on.
The whole system, Canada-wide, needs first to be cleaned out, then cleaned up!
The courts and provincial governments have demonstrated little interest in moving against them. This man is only one of thousands of men, women and couples who have been punished by this shielded organization. And tomorrow it will continue without opposition.
