City needs fresh start

It’s time for this town to forge ahead and share the wealth

Please, through the power and the scope of the media, reach out to the population of Penticton to promote a new beginning and a better tomorrow, beginning with a new mayor (especially someone who resides in Penticton). We need new blood and a fresh face. It’s time for this town to forge ahead and share the wealth, as well as the knowledge of others who have gone before. We have been in a rut and now have the opportunity to make some headway.

A big thanks goes out to all of those of you that have held office of mayor in the past, and blessed us with your wisdom and guidance. By “new blood” I mean other than blue blood.

We have a lot of catching up to do and can build a better future with the foundation we have inherited.

While on the subject of mayor, past and present, isn’t David Perry the crusader of double dipping? Not doing just that, drawing a School District 67 pension while serving as a trustee with the same.

That’s what I call cutting your nose off to spite your face.
