City should relocate deer

What plans has the city to accommodate the deer whose habitat is rapidly disappearing?

To the editor,

Now that the woodlots at Brickyard Road and Linley Valley Drive have disappeared, what plans has the City of Nanaimo in place to accommodate the deer whose habitat is rapidly disappearing?

These animals are being forced into more residential areas and as Nanaimo collects monies from these developments, they should be responsible to relocate the deer to alternate areas.
