Closing adult learning was wrong

Try telling that to the adult education students who have lost their school

I was astounded to read a quote from the Cowichan school district board chairwoman Candice Spilsbury stating that,”The board believes all students should have easy access to education.”

Try telling that to the adult education students who have lost their school, have to pay large fees up front to go to VIU, or drive to Victoria to complete their high school courses.

The decision to close CALC [Cowichan Adult Learning Centre] was wrong.
